Balanced Fundraising is a funding platform for worthy projects.

We reserve the right to determine what projects are of a quality and purpose in keeping with our values. We strive to provide a forum for all manner of people to gain a way to bring their projects and ambitions to life. Project creators inspire people to open their wallets by offering products, benefits, and fun experiences. We will consider your project on a case by case basis. Please use our contact form to send us an inquiry.

Balanced Fundraising will consider some charitiable projects, raising funds for self help, a combined altruistic effort where a community benefits from direct help for a business which creates immediate jobs and a sustainable business model may be considered. We do not consider asking for contributions where other people fund your lifestyle (travel, living expenses, etc).

Balanced Fundraising expressly prohibits soliciting investment or loans. Projects may not offer any form of financial return or equity (i.e. stock) under any circumstances.

Lotteries, raffles, and sweepstakes are strictly forbidden.

Currently a US bank account and address are required to start a project.

Community Guidelines (Don’t make us come over there and spank you!)

We rely on our members and guests to be respectful, courteous and kind in all their  interactions. We want to ensure that Balanced Fundraising remains a desirable family type community.

Please observe these rules:

• Please pass the word about any project(s) you like – BUT DO NOT SPAM. Our definition of Spam includes sending unsolicited @ messages to people on Twitter. This makes you and every other Balanced Fundraising project sponsor bad. So, Don’t do it.
• Don’t promote a project on other projects’ pages. Your comments will be deleted when found and your project may be suspended or terminated or both.
• Be courteous and respectful. Don’t create controversy, harass or abuse other members guests or commenting parties.
• Don’t post any obscene, hateful, or objectionable content. We have a strict ZERO TOLERANCE policy.  If you do not abide by any of our rules or if we receive repeated complaints about “bad actors”, their content, comments and even their projects WILL be removed and the offending parties will be banned from our site.
• Don’t post copyrighted content without permission. Only post content that you can clearly demonstrate that you have the appropriate rights to use/publish.
• If you don’t like a project, don’t support them. This is a no negative zone. Just keep it to yourself – if you must criticize, contact the party privately and do so without using our website to make the contact.

Actions that violate any of these rules or Balanced Fundraising’s Terms of Use may lead to an account being suspended or deleted. We’d prefer not to do that, so behave your self, okay?
